Katerina Bauza (maiden name - Zaychuk) was born on May 5, 1952 in Cherkasy region, in the village of Bashtechka in a large family. From childhood Katerina was concerned about the beauty and majesty of her native land. It was her house, her life. Sixteen-year-old Katya came to Kiev with a dream to become an artist. And wherever she had to work, she did not leave her dream. At first, they were small works for gifts to relatives with flowers, landscapes, and the sea. Later, in the 2000s, the transition of naive drawing to another level is taking place, some of Catherine Bauzi's works were exhibited at several city art exhibitions.

Many people paint for self-affirmation, self-realization, but Katerina draws from the desire to draw. It is love for Ukraine and its people depicted on the canvas of the artist. She has been and remains a good mother for her children and a talented wizard.
