The spiritual world of Yuri Bazavluk

Sumy fellowship in the city of Kyiv
Central District Library. Ivan Franko

The spiritual world of Yuri Bazavluk
The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Mykola Omelyanovich Makarenko, archaeologist, art critic, artist, museologist, monument guard, public figure (1877-1938)

In Soviet times, the name of a Ukrainian patriot was erased from the pages of history. The first director of the Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko Museum carried out important archeological research in Ukraine in defense of the destruction of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral.

Remember!

We present a painting by a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Yuriy Kominternovych Bazavluk.
The future artist was born in Kharkiv, but spent his childhood and youth in the historic city of Putivl, Sumy region. In recent years, he has been successfully doing business in Kyiv. His passion for painting has been evident since his school years, and his father's work was a clear example. The future artist's time came in adulthood.
Yuriy Bazavluk is an active public figure, a man who strives to change the world for the better, a patriot of Ukraine. Several significant events in his life finally directed the philosophical credo of Yuri Kominternovych - to dedicate his life to painting.

At the exhibition in the Central District Library named after I. Franko you can see paintings filled with holiness, deep philosophical content, the desire to show the priorities of the spiritual over the material. We have before us a series of works dedicated to sacred art. Impressive is the natural gift of Yu.

The exhibition was held thanks to the sponsorship of fellow countryman Dmytro Oleksiyovych Zhyvytsky.
