"Ukraine, the poet's soul will fly to your obzhynky"

The Kyiv organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the Sumy Fellowship in Kyiv have teamed up to create an exhibition of paintings dedicated to two important dates: the centenary of Leonid Poltava's birthday (1921-1990) and the thirtieth anniversary of Ukraine's independence. The opening took place in the Ivan Franko Central Library in Kyiv with the participation of members of the Sumy Fellowship and its leader Ivan Mykolayovych Rishnyak.

Let us turn to the history of the struggle for independence of the Ukrainian people, starting from the time of the last Kosh Ataman of the Zaporozhian Sich Peter Kalnyshevsky (1648-1781) - a native of the glorious Cossack land, located near the border with Russia. The author of the article especially emphasizes the special mission of his compatriots in our time - to preserve the borders of Ukraine, to create conditions for the prosperity of its economy, culture and education. Therefore, when we look through the history of this blessed land, the voices of our dignitaries speak to us, who formed the Ukrainian identity, language, preserved the traditions of their people and, most importantly, fought for the independence of Ukraine. In this cohort - and the poet, public figure, journalist, writer Leonid Edvardovich Parkhomovich (literary pseudonyms Ensen, Poltava).

   Life to live is not a field to go, says a folk saying. Today we will talk about the artist, who in the heyday of creative forces celebrates his 85th birthday. Veniamin Fishelevich Zaslavsky was born in the pre-war years, more precisely on May 1, 1936…. His fate, as well as that of the entire Ukrainian people, was marked by the tragic events of the Great Patriotic War, famine, and difficult times in the development of socialist society.

He felt an attraction to art from childhood when in 1946 he began to study in the art studio of the Kiev House of Pioneers. He passed the path of art science in art school, remembers the mentors who influenced the very beginning of his work. V. Zaslavsky served in the army, and after demobilization he entered the Kyiv State Art Institute. Thus, Veniamin Fishelevich managed to absorb the academic art school from the already famous artists I. Shtilman, M. Glushchenko, B. Kostetsky. He remembers with gratitude teachers V. Zabashta, B. Pianida, M. Popov, P. Basants, S. Poderviansky, his skill grew alongside him. The above-mentioned artists entered the golden treasury of Ukrainian art with their works. And we can only thank fate for their role in the creative development of V. Zaslavsky.

"Enigma of color" is the name of the art exhibition in the KONSHU gallery "Artist". A unique opportunity to meet friends and show your works to artists during the May May flowering. Such group exhibitions are a difficult task for the organizers, but not for the professional Honored Worker of Culture, art critic Karina Kravets. The successful exposition emphasized the favorable accents and the hall was filled with energy, beauty, sunlight, a breath of blue sea motifs and romance of fairy-tale plots. Along with realistic works, you can see abstract compositions, still lifes, landscapes, the world of animals and birds. And all this is seasoned with the enigma of colors in which the viewer needs to understand himself .... Therefore, we immerse ourselves, explain, get spiritual pleasure. Each of the 8 participants - Natalia Tsarinova, Vladimir Glukhomanyuk, Polina Sultanova, Anna Gridasova, Nadezhda Kazka, Natalia Zhigailo, Oksana Kartavtseva, Tatiana Kara has their own "enigma of color" their own preferences and their own creative space.

Considering the exhibition, the head of the Kyiv organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Viktor Konoval noted the professionalism of the participants, even invited one of them to join the union.
